wordpress WordPress サイトでの Internal Server Error

今朝サイトにアクセスしたところ、「Internal Server Error」となっていた。

昨日までは問題はなかったが。。。

.htaccess や自動更新、プラグインの影響かと思いファイル等を調べても特に更新（変更）されている形跡はなし。

仕方ないので、ホスティングのサポートに確認したところサーバー側で何らかのアップデートが行われ、その結果サーバーの管理パネル（cPanel）で指定している PHP のバージョンが変更されていたので元に戻したところエラーが消え問題なくなったとの回答。

While your cPanel is set to have your sites use php 5.x, a recent update looks to have made cpanel try to use another version. I have just made sure that your account is using php 5.x and your site is now loading again. i sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

確認したところ、問題なく表示されていた。

更にサポートにどの PHP のバージョンになっていたためにエラーになったかを問い合わせると以下の回答。要領を得ない回答で詳細は現在調査中とのこと。。。

There was a php update that caused this to happen. This is something that happened during a recent update and our systems administrators are further investigating this.

結論：サーバーの PHP のアップデートが何らかの影響を及ぼし Internal Server Error になったということらしい。
